Why do people like iOS so much?
For years I stuck with Android phones some cheap some mid-range some expensive and I avoided iPhones. Every Android phone I have had would frequently slow down and need apps to be deleted or moved from internal memory. Not a good user experience. Then about 5 years ago I wanted to buy a tablet for taking hand-written notes storing ebooks and annotating PDFs for a year-long full-time university course (a PGCE). Of course being used to Android I first looked at Android tablets and borrowed a Nexus to test. The experience was awful. It was unusable for handwritten notes and not smooth at all when doing anything other than a bit of web browsing. I visited an Apple store that was nearby and tried out an iPad Air. I was blown away with the flity of the device and ended up buying it and a couple of cheap styluses. The iPad Air performed flawlessly over the duration of the course and beyond. The main document we used to track our progress on the course was a 15 page PDF. By the end of the course my PDF doc had grown to around 3 pages what with all of the hand-written notes d essays photos and other bits and pieces all annotated pasted and inserted into the document. I ended up splitting the document into two parts because the iPad would get a little sluggish loading it but other than that and once the document was split it handled everything I threw at it perfectly without noticeable slowdown or crashing. My experience with this iPad (and hence of iOS) persuaded me to ditch the Android phone that I was using and try an iPhone. I had a similarly good experience with the iPhone as I had had with the iPad I didn need to worry about managing applications and the device remains silky-smooth and a pleasure to use. A very different experience to the multiple Android phone I had been using over the years. iOS for the most part remains a user-centric experience focused on productivity which is why many people like it.

What professional app is recommended for creating a photo album for Mac?
If you are after a physical photo album then Apple Photos app has built-in support for making and ordering professional photo albums (under Projects called Books). I believe they ship worldwide. You can also print them yourself but the quality won be as good (in most cases). Most print shops only need a high quality PDF to print an album. You will have tomunicate with the print shop the dimensions you want and see if they can make a custom sized album or if they already have such a product and their clients (you) have to conform to its dimensions. To create a high quality PDF album for digital use sharing or providing to a print shop you can still use the above mentioned Apple Photos app - open a Book and right-click on the grey area around the pages then choose Save Book as PDF; alternatively after you open the Book choose File menu and Print then from the PDF dropdown in the left-hand-side choose Save as PDF but note this creates a PDF for a given print size which is the way to conform to the printers requirements. If you want to create a collage instead and you have explored the Photos app Book option then you can create a Book or even a Card and follow the PDF export above - they both have the option to create one-photo collage to up to 13-photos collages via the Layout options within a page. You can remove the unneeded pages within a Book or after saving into a PDF delete the pages from within the PDF. If you want to convert a PDF to a shareable image then you can use the Preview app (which by default opens when you open a PDF file) and select the File menu and choose Export then pick a format (eg. JPEG) and resolution - 72 1 2 or 3 will yield different sized exports (lower to higher). Keep in mind that only the selected PDF page will be exported. If you want to export multiple pages then youll have to repeat ehe process for each page. I hope this makes sense.
How can I convert a PDF to Word?
There is no good way to use Microsoft Word to edit PDFs. Microsoft Word is used for authoring an original document not modifying a portable document. True Word can import some data from a PDF. That feature is useful when you are authoring a new document and wish to salvage data from a PDF to prevent time spent entering data. In that case it is best to import the PDF into a file by itself and strip it of formatting then copy and paste it into your pre-formatted document as Normal . Then you will proceed to make other formatting changes for headings section numbering etc. If you must edit a PDF directly your edits should be minor. Even in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro you are limited in how much editing you can do. Fix a misspelled word maybe replace a word here or there. If you try to rearrange a document or make edits that cause significant changes regarding allocated space you will not get what you expect. The way flows in a PDF is not always what you expect so shortening or lengthening paragraphs will give strange results oftentimes. PDF editors are not page layout programs. So if your edits are minor and you must edit the of an existing PDF get your hands on a PDF editor (not free). If you can get away with obscuring existing and s you just need good annotation capability. If you have a Mac you can use Preview to annotate or cut and paste graphics. The free Acrobat Reader allows some annotations too. You can use annotations to white-out a section of and put in new annotation to replace it. If you are careful it may not be that noticeable. You can white-out s to alter graphics. You can create a Frankenstein Monster of a document if you like using free PDF annotation software. But then youll ask yourself why you didn just make a whole new document in Microsoft Word something you could call your own.
