Merge Multiple Text Files Into One Notepad++: What You Should Know
In notepad, type
CD type commandprompt.bat. After the command prompt is opened type the following code and press ↵ Enter: defile ‾‾‾‾ You can also copy text files into Notepad++ and choose new file …‾‾‾ within the Merge text boxes. Click Browse. Browse to the first file with the cursor, right-click, and choose Open command prompt here. After that's opened, type the following code and press ↵ Enter: defile ‾‾‾‾ You can also paste text files into Notepad++ and choose add to folder within the Merge text boxes. Click Browse. Browse to the first file with the cursor, right-click, and choose Open command prompt here. After that's opened, type the following code and press ↵ Enter: defile ‾‾‾‾ To make multiple files merge, right-click on the two or more files and choose “Collapse All” in the menu. The files will be merged. Repeat the process for each file. You will get to a dialog asking you if you want to consolidate all files or just the top two.

Dec 9, 2024 — If you want to Merge two files, go to the Menu → File> Open Command Prompt… in the menu. Find the file and copy or right-click on the file to open the folder with it.
