Is it really locked? — Mac — (View topic) May 18, 2024 — Does this work for me on Mavericks 10.9.x? — Mac — (View topic) Oct 7, 2024 — I have tried several tools, but this one has worked for me. I was locked in my documents folder. However, in the “File Sharing” field the file is hidden if I remove or add any space. So, it works when the space is removed from the hidden file but when it is added there again, it doesn't let me edit it. You may remove the space and re-add it to get the file locked. When you are in edit mode, click outside the screen, so you can see all options for changes you want to make. Then select all the file and click the “Edit” button. Then save the edit and select the hidden file from the File Sharing list. [How to Unlock Files When Not in Edit Mode] — Mac Support Communities Oct 9, 2024 — I had trouble to get my .pdf files of my book “The Magic Wallpaper” to open. The problem was, I had to have space for the file to open. I thought about deleting or editing the .pdf file, but then I realized that there are a other way to read the file. Can you offer a suggestion other than removing spaces around all the text? Thank you! Oct 9, 2024 — I have to remove the hidden PDF file in my Documents folder. After removing the spaces around the text and text formatting, the file opens. When I edit the file with another software, it does not open. I know the spaces are there. What am I doing wrong? Also, I have a few more questions regarding this file. Oct 14, 2024 — I have an unencrypted .pdf file. Is there a way to read it? What does the text for each line mean? How do I get rid of them? Reply Delete Sorry, but I don't really know how to solve it. Maybe there are other software out there with a way to read the file. Do you know a way at all? Reply Delete Ok, you probably have to do something wrong with your PDF file. There is a free viewer out there that will read PDF files, but the program may not work for you, so don't use it. Or there is another tool that will open.
