Acrobat Reader italic as the name implies is only meant for reading italic PDFs. It not meant for editing italic them. You could work around by printing the PDF to PDF if your OS supports printing to PDF while leaving out the pages that you don want.

Only the Pro version (the one you have to pay for) can do that. Some of these options can be purchased on a per-document basis with Acrobat Reader but I don think organizing a document is one of them (I can tell at the moment because I already have the Pro version installed and it just starts up on its own).
